Police investigating after man (28) is stabbed in a Ballymena bar

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in a bar in Ballymena on Sunday, 11 August.

A PSNI spokesman told ‘Ballymena Daily’: “The victim, who is 28 years old, sustained wounds to his lip and abdomen after he was attacked by an unknown male armed with a knife at premises in Henry Street.

“The injured male was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not thought to be life threatening.

“Anyone who witnessed the attack is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 1645 11/08/19.”
