Police pledge to monitor popular family attraction following ‘senseless’ criminal damage

POLICE have pledged to monitor a popular family attraction – the Fairy Trail at Galgorm – following incidents of vandalism.

On Easter Sunday the PSNI said: “Police are appealing for witnesses for an incident of criminal damage which occurred at the Fairy Trail, Galgorm, some time between the evening of 14/04/19 and the morning of 15/04/19.

“Three of the woodland fairy doors were damaged and or destroyed during this incident.

“This was a senseless act of criminal damage on a much beloved family attraction.

“Given the fact that there have been a few incidents of this nature in recent weeks, police will be monitoring the area a lot more closely.

“If anyone believes that they may have information which will help with the investigation please call 101 quoting serial CC301 15/04/19.”
