Police pledge to ‘robustly’ deal with breaches of public health regulations at Dunfane Playing Fields in Ballymena

POLICE are pledging to ‘robustly’ deal with any breaches of public health regulations at places like Dunfane Playing Fields in Ballymena.

A statement on the Police Mid & East Antrim social media page said: “Due to numerous reports of anti-social behaviour in Ballymena last weekend, there will be pro-active Police patrolling in certain locations, notably the Dunfane Playing Fields, over the next few evenings.

“Police will show a visible presence in these areas. In short, behaviour like that reported to us last weekend will not be tolerated and any offences detected or breaches of Public Health Regulations will be dealt with robustly.”
