Police say ‘creeper’ burglary was a ‘frightening experience’ for household occupants

POLICE are investigating a ‘creeper’ burglary during the early hours of today (Wednesday, 1st April).

It happened in the Crumlin area.

PSNI Inspector Stephen Patty said: “We received a report at 6:40am that entry was forced to a house in the Ballytromery Road area a short time earlier, around 6:35am. Keys to a black Hyundai Getz were taken and used to steal the car.

“Thankfully, just before 9am, our officers located the car in the Cochranstown Road, Dundrod.

“This was a frightening experience for the occupants of the house, and I would urge anyone who has information that could help us identify the perpetrator to get in touch with us on 101, and quote reference number 195 of 01/04/20. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
