Popular Mary retires from Rathmoyle Resource Centre

If popularity is measured by the support a work colleague receives from fellow staff members at her leaving party then Mary Brennan can feel proud.

Mary has retired from her position as Care Assistant at Rathmoyle Resource Centre in Ballycastle and her contribution down the years was recognised at a function in the Millside Restaurant in Cloughmills.

The large gathering testified to the esteem in which Mary was held during her 18-year association with Rathmoyle.

There was a fun-filled atmosphere with Mary receiving many congratulations on her retirement and also regret at her leaving.

Long-standing colleagues including Austin McFadden, Benny Elliott and Dolores Graham joined Mary for the function along with a host of other workmates.

Mary, who lives in the Ballycastle area, said she had worked with a “great bunch of people” and that she would really miss them all.

“They gave me wonderful support and I’ll always be grateful,” Mary said.
