Robert McQuillan is awarded BEM ‘for services to music in Ballymena’ in the Queen’s Birthday Honours

ROBERT McQuillan has been awarded a British Empire Medal in he Queen’s Birthday’s Honours.

Mr McQuillan receives the award for ‘services to music in Ballymena’.

Cuningham Memorial Presbyterian Church in Cullybackey said on Facebook: ‘As a congregation we wish to congratulate our organist emeritus, Bobby McQuillan, for being named on the Queen’s Birthday Honours list to be awarded with a BEM for his services to music in Ballymena.

‘For 46 years we were blessed by those services, as he used his gifts to enhance our services of worship, weddings, funerals and many other occasions.

‘We thank God for this and we trust that He will continue to use and bless Bobby in the years to come.’

The Queen’s Birthday Honours 2019 recognises the outstanding achievements of people across the United Kingdom.
