Sudden death of man in Ballymena on Wednesday afternoon – PSNI and Ambulance Service were in attendance

POLICE were in the Demesne estate in Ballymena on Wednesday afternoon in connection with the sudden death of a man.

The PSNI and the Ambulance Service were in attendance at a property.

A PSNI spokesperson told ‘Ballymena Daily’: “Police attended the report of a sudden death of a man in the Tardree Grove area of Ballymena today (Wednesday 15th May).

“A post mortem is due to be carried out in due course. There are no further details at this stage.”

The Ambulance Service received a call around 12.40pm.

The Ambulance Service said two emergency crews attended following a report that a male patient was unconscious.

The Ambulance Service said they did not take anyone from the scene.
