Sunday night stabbing: Simon Community say ‘altercation happened at flats adjacent to now vacant Mill House’ hostel in Ballymena

This was the scene in the Henry Street area of Ballymena in March. Now a man has appeared in court.

WHEN asked about a stabbing, the Simon Community told ‘Ballymena Daily’ an incident took place at flats adjacent to their “now vacant Mill House property” in Ballymena.

A spokesperson said: “Simon Community NI is aware of an altercation that took place on Sunday 10 March at the flats adjacent to their now vacant Mill House property.

“It is understood that an incident between one of their clients and three members of the community resulted in emergency services being called and the charity is currently working with the PSNI to look into the matter.”

Earlier, police told ‘Ballymena Daily’, as reported on our Facebook page: “A 35 year old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing at a property in the Henry Street area of Ballymena last night.
