SEVEN covid-related deaths have been reported in Northern Ireland in the last day.
Three of those who died were aged between 60-79 and four were aged 80 or over.
Belfast and Derry City & Strabane each had two deaths and the others were in Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon; Mid Ulster Newry, Mourne & Down.
The number of covid-related deaths across Northern Ireland since the pandemic began is now 781, according to the Department of Health.
According to Department of Health figures there have been 53 covid-linked deaths in Mid & East Antrim.
There were 36 new coronavirus cases in Mid & East Antrim in the last day.
That was up from 21 cases in the area the previous day.
The total number of cases in the Mid & East Antrim district since the start of the pandemic is now 2,060.
There were 420 new covid cases in the last 24 hours across Northern Ireland.
The number of covid cases across Northern Ireland since the pandemic started is 42,917.
Statistics now show a weekly breakdown of new cases by postcode areas – for example the BT42 and BT43 areas which take in the Ballymena district had 96 and 37 respectively in the last week.
