Police recently put a picture on social media of 'Bad Boy' fireworks seized in the area.

A TEENAGER from Portglenone is accused of selling ‘Bad Boy’ thunder fireworks without a licence.

Adam Gordon (18), of Garvaghy Crescent, appeared via a video link from a solicitor’s office at Ballymena Magistrates Court, sitting in Antrim, on Thursday.

He is charged in relation to October 11/12 this year.

The defendant is also accused of possessing ‘Category F2’ firework rockets without a licence at Brook Street in Ahoghill; possessing five ‘counterfeit’ £20 notes and possessing cocaine and cannabis.

A police officer said he believed he could connect the defendant to the charges.
