Teenager pleads not guilty to selling ‘Bad Boy Thunder’ fireworks

Last year police put a picture on social media of 'Bad Boy' fireworks seized in the area.

A TEENAGER has pleaded not guilty to selling ‘Bad Boy Thunder’ fireworks.

The defendant also denies possessing five allegedly counterfeit £20 notes.

Adam Gordon (18), of Garvaghy Crescent in Portglenone, has, however, admitted possessing fireworks without a licence in Ahoghill.

He has also pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine and cannabis on the same date – October 11 this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday where the defence solicitor was Stewart Ballentine.

The matter has been adjourned to December.
