THREE men aged 39, 37 and 31 years old arrested by detectives from Causeway Coast and Glens Criminal Investigation Department, as part of ‘ongoing investigations into criminality linked to North Antrim UDA’ have been released following questioning, police said on Wednesday morning.
A spokesperson added: “The investigation continues”.
On Tuesday police had said: “Detectives from Causeway Coast and Glens Criminal Investigation Department have carried out three searches and made three arrests in Ballymoney today, Tuesday 27 October.
“The suspects, aged 39, 37 and 31 were arrested as part of ongoing investigations into criminality linked to north Antrim UDA. All three have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
“A number of items were also seized which will now be subject to forensic examination. The police investigation continues.
“Anyone with information about any criminality linked to paramilitaries should contact police on 101 or anonymously through the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111, which gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
