Three men arrested following M2 collision

THREE men have been arrested following a road traffic collision which occurred at the M2 northbound carriageway this morning (Thursday 3rd September).

PSNI Sergeant Doyle said: “Shortly after 00:20am, it was reported that a white Ford Fiesta car was involved in a one vehicle road traffic collision in the area.

“Three men then made off from the car before being apprehended by police a short time later.

“The males were taken to hospital following the incident for their injuries as a result of the one vehicle road traffic collision, but all were later discharged.

“The men, one aged 28 years old and two aged 21 year old, were arrested on suspicion of various motoring offences. All three are currently assisting police with their enquiries.

“Our enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dash-cam footage available, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 27 03/09/20.”
