THERE have been 8 new reported Covid cases in Mid & East Antrim in the last day.
There were 49 new cases reported across the whole of Northern Ireland in the last 24 hours.
There have been 659 cases in Mid & East Antrim out of 16,649 people tested in the area since the pandemic started.
There were 43 new cases in Mid & East Antrim in the last week.
Over the last 14 days Mid & East Antrim had the second highest number of new cases – 137 – compared to Belfast’s 225.
There have been 614 cases in Antrim & Newtownabbey – a rise of 2 since yesterday – and 418 – no rise – in Causeway Coast & Glens.
The total number of cases in Northern Ireland since the pandemic began is 7,294.
Out of the 49 new cases in Northern Ireland in the last day, Belfast had 19; Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon had 10 and Mid & East Antrim had 8.
Newry, Mourne & Down and Lisburn & Castlereagh each had 4 and Antrim & Newtownabbey had 2.
Mid Ulster and Fermanagh & Omagh each had 1 case.
The number of people who have died across Northern Ireland since the pandemic began, according to the Department of Health, is 560.
In Mid & East Antrim, since the pandemic started, the number of people who died is 44 according to Department of Health statistics.
The Health Department says there have been 61 deaths in Antrim and Newtownabbey and 39 in Causeway Coast and Glens.
The Department of Health has not recorded any deaths for a number of days.
