THERE have been 9 new Covid cases in Mid & East Antrim in the last day.
There were 41 new cases reported across Northern Ireland.

78 new cases in Mid & East Antrim in the last week is the highest weekly rise of any local council area in Northern Ireland.
There have been 528 cases in Antrim & Newtownabbey and 367 in Causeway Coast & Glens.
The total number of cases in Northern Ireland since the pandemic began is 6,471.
Out of the 41 new cases in Northern Ireland in the last day, Belfast had the highest rise with 14 new cases followed by Mid & East Antrim with 9.
Antrim & Newtownabbey had six new cases and Causeway Coast & Glens had four new cases.
Newry Mourne and Down recorded two new cases and all other districts each recorded one new case apart from Mid Ulster which had no rise.
There was one new case which was listed as ‘not known’ in terms of local government district.
Another death in Northern Ireland is included in the latest statistics which was said to have occurred outside the last day but is now only been included in the grim tally.
The latest reported death was in the Newry Mourne and Down area.
The number of people who have died across Northern Ireland since the pandemic began, according to the Department of Health, is 559.
In Mid & East Antrim, since the pandemic started, the number of people who died is 44 according to Department of Health statistics.
The Health Department says there have been 60 deaths in Antrim and Newtownabbey and 39 in Causeway Coast and Glens.
