TWO men accused of murdering Donald Fraser-Rennie whose body was found in Ballymena at the end of September have had their cases further adjourned.
The accused are Samuel Atcheson (33), of Crebilly Road in Ballymena and Stephen Hunter (29), of Lanntara, Ballymena,
The men had previously been in court in connection with the murder charge and the cases were mentioned again at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The cases were further adjourned to the end of November.
The men are charged with murdering 33-year-old Mr Fraser-Rennie whose body was discovered in a flat at Crebilly Road in Ballymena on September 30.
Speaking at the time Mr Fraser-Rennie’s body was discovered, PSNI Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell had said: “At this stage I believe that Donald was the victim of a vicious, sustained and violent beating which resulted in his death”.
