TWO police officers were injured in connection with a high speed pursuit at the Moorfields Road near Ballymena.
The PSNI said on Facebook on Thursday night: “Tonight our colleagues from PSNI Road Policing were involved in a high speed pursuit on Moorfields Road, Ballymena.
“A vehicle had been traveling in excess of 100mph and was failing to stop for police.
“Officers deployed a stinger device and successfully brought the pursuit to a stop.
“2 males are now in custody for motoring offences and the vehicle has been seized.
“As a result of the driver failing to stop and police having to take this action two officers were injured. My advice, if you see blue lights in your mirror, pull over! – Inspector Marc Riddell”.
