POLICE saw a vehicle in the “wrong lane” close to a temporary roundabout in the Toome area at 11.30pm on August 11 this year and when they spoke to the driver it was established she was at the wheel after taking excess alcohol.
Jacqueline Duddy’s vehicle had damage to both sides, Antrim Magistrates Court heard.
A defence lawyer said the defendant had been at a party “out in the country”.
He said there was a “minor collision” with another vehicle.
District Judge Nigel Broderick banned the defendant (32), of Knock Road in Belfast, for a year and fined her £200.
