The Old Courthouse in Antrim was the venue for this year’s Antrim Town Centre Business Awards.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Paul Michael, said he was delighted to have hosted the ceremony.

“We are very privileged to have such a high standard of local businesses in Antrim Town and I would like to pass on my congratulations to all of those businesses who were shortlisted and in particular the worthy winners – well done.”

The winners were:

Best New Business – Winner – Ivy Lane Floral Design; Runner up – Preston Barber Shop.

Best Beauty Salon – Winner – Antrim Beauty Clinic; Runner up – Anita’s Health and Beauty Clinic.

Best Public House – Winner – Maddens Bar & Restaurant; Runner up – Top of the Town Bar & Grill.

Best Hair Salon – Winner – House of Smyth; Runner up – Preston Barber Shop.

Best Restaurant – Winner – Furama Restaurant; Runner up – Top of the Town Bar & Grill.

Best Takeaway – Winner – Lucky Star; Runner up – Pizza Time.

Best Small Eatery/Coffee Shop – Winner – Alfie’s Café; Runner up – High Street Café.

Best Multiple Retailer – Winner – O2; Runner up – Tesco.

Excellence in Customer Service – Winner – Ivy Lane Floral Design; Runner Up – The Sugar Cloud Bakery.

Best Independent Retailer – Winner - Antrim E-Cig; Runner up – Yew Tree Family Butchers.
