POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man on a railway station footbridge allegedly urinated on top of a woman.
A PSNI spokesperson said that between 4.45pm and 4.48pm on Monday a man on a footbridge at Antrim train station “allegedly urinated on top of a lady standing below him”.
The spokesperson added: “He is described as 5ft 10 – 6ft in height, slim build, wearing a dark baseball cap, 3/4 length dark long sleeved coat with a red top underneath, dark trousers, dark trainers with a white sole, scruffy grey stubble and aged mid 40s.
“If you have any information that may assist Police in identifying this male, please contact 101 quoting reference 2446 10/06/2019.”
Antrim Ulster Unionist councillor Jim Montgomery tweeted: “What a disgusting incident if the allegation is correct. Anyone who seen anything please pass info on to appropriate bodies.”
A Translink spokesperson told ‘Ballymena Daily’ today: “We are liaising with the PSNI investigation into an incident, which was reported to staff at Antrim Station.
“CCTV has been reviewed and shared with PSNI.
“We condemn all anti-social behaviour and offer a reward of up to £1,000 to anyone who will give evidence in court which leads to a prosecution.”
