Parrots and pups stolen in burglary

PARROTS and pups have been stolen in a break-in.

Police in Ballymoney are appealing for information following a report of burglary at residential premises at the Bravallen Road area on Monday 3rd June.

Between 1pm and 2pm, it was reported that French Bulldog pups were stolen.

A number of distinctive birds namely African Grey parrots, Blue-fronted Amazon parrots and a pair of Sun Conure parrots were also stolen.

Police are appealing to anyone with information, or who noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area at the time, to get in touch on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 1001 3/6/19.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may be offered such animals for sale in unusual circumstances.

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800555111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
