The much-respected ex-Chief Executive and Town Clerk of the former Ballymoney Borough Council has died.
Bill Williamson was the head of Riada House for several years and had a thorough understanding of the workings of local government.
He led the council through some of the most difficult times in politics in Northern Ireland.
He was awarded an MBE.

Williamson, 16th June 2019 (peacefully) at Causeway Hospital, William James (Bill) MBE, 4 Cambourne Park, Ballymoney, dearly beloved Husband of the late Lyla, much loved father of Fiona, Willis and Juliet and a dear father-in-law and grandfather.
Service in James McMullan and Son Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2pm followed by interment in Bushvale Presbyterian Churchyard.
