SEVEN further deaths related to coronavirus have been reported across Northern Ireland.
It brings the number of deaths reported by the Department of Health in Northern Ireland to 501 since the pandemic started.
The new statistics were released on Thursday.
There have been 38 deaths in the Mid & East Antrim area; 52 in Antrim & Newtownabbey area and 33 in the Causeway Coast & Glens area, since the beginning of the outbreak, according to the Department of Health statistics.
Of the seven further deaths across Northern Ireland three were in the current reporting period and four occurred earlier but are now only being included.
There have been 293 cases of coronavirus in Mid & East Antrim.
There have been 370 cases in Antrim and Newtownabbey and 189 in the Causeway Coast and Glens area.
Across Northern Ireland there have been 42 new coronavirus cases to bring the total since the start of the crisis to 4,481.
The 42 cases were a rise on recent days when 16 new cases were confirmed on Monday, Tuesday’s figure was 20 and on Wednesday it was 18.
