A well-respected woman in the north coast area has died aged 81.
Marie Therese (Teresa) Fairley passed away on Saturday.
A notice on the Funeral Times website said: ‘Fairley – 21st September 2019 peacefully at her home, “Cooldarragh”, 221 Loughan Road, Coleraine, Marie Therese (Teresa) R.I.P. aged 81 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Brian, much loved mother of Paul, Michelle, Nichola, Simone, Marc and David and devoted grandmother of Michael, Megan, Ellen, Emma, Eilish and Keevagh.
‘Requiem Mass in St Malachy’s Church, Coleraine on Tuesday at 1.00pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery.
‘Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired for Marie Curie Nursing Service c/o Mrs Mona Murdock 31, Bushmills Road, Coleraine.
‘Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family and entire family circle.
‘Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul’.’
Teresa’s late husband Brian was the former owner of Fairley’s Bar in Coleraine.
Her daughter Michelle is an actress, most famous for her role in Game of Thrones where she played the part of Catelyn Stark, wife and later widow of the leader of the North, Ned Stark.
