Alleged tractor driver appears at Ballymena Court accused of charges including dangerous driving and failing to stop for police

Ballymena Court.

A man facing charges including dangerous driving and failing to stop a tractor for police has appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court.

Sean Henry McKay (33), of Ballymena Road, Carnlough, is accused of committing offences on April 19 this year at Feystown Road in the Glenarm area.

Other charges include: using a Massey Ferguson tractor without insurance; driving while disqualified; resisting police; assault on police; possessing cannabis; driving whilst unfit and driving with excess alcohol in breath.

No further details were given to the court.

The case was adjourned to next week to get the attitude of the defendant to the charges.
