Ballymena Court hears man (41) caught with cannabis

Ballymena Court

A 41-year-old man caught with cannabis has had the matter adjourned for a pre-sentence report.

Ronald Robinson, of Shancoole in Ballymena, came to police attention on January 15 this year when he had three grammes of cannabis in his possession.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday a guilty plea was entered and the court heard he had a relevant record.

When being told of the relevant record, District Judge Nigel Broderick said “he can’t get the same disposal” and adjourned the matter to April for a pre-sentence report.
