Ballymena Court hears man admits charges including dangerous driving and using a vehicle in a dangerous condition

A 20-year-old Larne man has admitted a number of motoring offences including dangerous driving at the town’s Bank Road and using a vehicle which was in a dangerous condition.

Dillon McCombe, of Glynn Road, was at Ballymena Magistrates Court.

The charges relate to August 21 last year.

Other charges he has pleaded guilty to include driving while disqualified; absence of insurance and having an improper number plate.

He also assaulted a police officer.

The defendant’s barrister was Stephen Law.

The case has been adjourned to April for a pre-sentence report.
