Ballymena Court hears woman who supplied Diazepam had to move following attack on her home

A 31-year-old woman with an address listed at Drumtara in Ballymena who has pleaded guilty to unlawfully supplying Diazepam in relation to July 20 this year has had to move address after an attack on her home, a defence lawyer told the town’s Magistrates Court.

The lawyer for Emma Nancy Diamond, asked for a pre-sentence report “because there is a background to this case”.

The defendant has also pleaded guilty to possessing Diazepam and cannabis on July 22.

She appeared in the dock at Ballymena Magistrates Court.

No further details were given to the court regarding the background of the case.

The matter was adjourned to September.
