Ballymena Court: Woman is accused of sending message ‘of a menacing character’

A WOMAN is accused of sending a message described in the charge as being ‘of a menacing character’.

Jacqueline Marrs (49), with an address listed as Tobar Park, Cullybackey, is charged with ‘improper use of public electronic communications’.

The charge relates to February 17 this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court where defence solicitor Emma McCann said she had written to prosecutors about the possibility of an “alternative disposal”.

The case has been adjourned to September.
