Ballymena man accused of April Fool’s Day offences failed to perfect bail

A man charged with causing criminal damage to two vehicles on April Fool’s Day has been further remanded in custody after being unable to perfect a bail address.

Ciaran McKeown (24), whose address was listed as no fixed abode in Ballymena, is alleged to have damaged a Mini Cooper and a Nissan X Trail belonging to two different people.

The defendant appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday via video link from Maghaberry Prison and the case was adjourned to July 11.
