Ballymena man admits being disorderly but denies other offences

A Ballymena man who has admitted offences including being disorderly in the Ballymena Road area of Cullybackey has secured bail

Gary Adam McCullough (26),of Knockeen Road, is charged in relation to May 19 this year.

He has admitted charges including assaulting and resisting police officers; damaging a police cell van and being disorderly at Ballymena Road, Cullybackey.

The defendant has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a man; damaging the man’s t-shirt and and attempting to damage the man’s Ford Fiesta.

The defendant appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday via video link from Maghaberry Prison and the case was adjourned to June 27.

He was released on bail to an address to be agreed by police with conditions including a 10pm-8am curfew and a ban from entering Ballymena.
