A Ballymena man who previously pleaded guilty to having an offensive weapon – a crossbow – at Queen Street in the town has been ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work and has been put on Probation for a year.
Ryan Lynn (22), of Kintyre Park, had also previously admitted assault and possessing cannabis.
The charges relate to March this year.
A charge of making a threat to kill the person he assaulted was previously withdrawn.
At Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday the case was also referred to the Crown Court where he had been given a two and a half year sentence, suspended for three years, last December.
Ballymena Court ordered that a crossbow and balaclava be forfeited.
