Cushendall man has charges dismissed

A CUSHENDALL man who had been accused of offences including possessing an offensive weapon – a kitchen knife – has had the charges dismissed after a prosecutor said they were offering no evidence in the case.

Dylan McKeegan (19), of Bellisk Drive, was alleged to have committed offences in June this year.

He was also charged with assaulting a female; damaging a bedroom door belonging to her and making a threat to cause damage.

The case was mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court where the defence solicitor was Garrett Greene.
