Jail warning for man who was disorderly at Moat Road in Ballymena

A Ballymena man who has admitted being disorderly at the town’s Moat Road has been warned he could face jail.

Samuel Mitchell (52), of Larne Road, committed the offence on March 7 this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on April 11.

District Judge Mark McGarrity said that because of the defendant’s record there could be a prison sentence.

The case was adjourned to mid-May for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
