Judge: Interpreters ‘expensive to book’

Ballymena Court

TWO people accused of theft were not in Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday when their case was called in relation to theft charges despite a Romanian interpreter being present.

A judge said interpreters were “expensive to book”.

Anuta Bojani (28) and Silviu Ioan Seres (22), both listed as the same address at Dunclug Park in Ballymena, are charged with the theft of goods worth £31 from Poundland, Ballymena, on December 20 last year.

The cases were adjourned to March 19.
