Kidnap accused has internet ban lifted so he can contact family during pandemic

A MAN who is one is one of a number of men charged with kidnapping a man has had an internet ban bail condition scrapped to allow him to contact family and friends during the coronavirus pandemic.

Ryan Goligher (29), with an address listed as Millstone Park in Portstewart, is also accused of stealing £500 from the alleged victim and aiding and abetting grievous bodily harm upon the man.

The charges relate to December 12 last year.

The bail change occurred in his absence at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday March 23.

One of the other co-accused – Jason Ian Kennedy (30), of Captain Street Upper in Coleraine – had his case adjourned to April 20.
