A DEFENCE lawyer says a man is to contest allegations regarding threats to kill.

Barrister Neil Moore was speaking at Ballymena Magistrates Court, sitting in Antrim, concerning Gregory Buggie (60), of Ashbourne Manor, Ballymena.

The defendant is charged with making threats to kill two females; causing criminal damage to a front door and resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty.

The charges relate to July 22 this year.

The court heard the defendant is on continuing police bail and the case has been adjourned to September.
