Man accused of possessing knife has case further adjourned

A MAN accused of possessing a knife with intent to commit grievous bodily harm has had his case further adjourned.

Kieran Mark Hegarty McGaughey (32), whose address was given as Linenhall Street in Ballymena, is also charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to a female and stealing £180 from her.

The defendant is further accused of being disorderly in a public place – the vicinity of Athol Avenue in Coleraine.

The charges relate to October 22 this year.
The case was mentioned at court on December 16 and adjourned.
