Man accused of stealing Dettol wipes is banned from entering Tower Centre

A MAN is accused of stealing items including Dettol wipes.

Michael Lenaghan (51), of Galgorm Road, Ballymena, is accused of four counts of theft relating to February 13 this year.

He is charged with stealing a grooming set, three bottles of perfume, assorted goods, clothing and the wipes.

The wipes were worth £2 and were allegedly taken from Poundland.

The other alleged thefts happened at Boots, Primark and B&M.

The defendant was at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The court heard the defendant was “just out of custody”.

The case was adjourned to March 26 and the defendant was given £500 bail with a ban on entering the Tower Centre in Ballymena.
