Man admits having two knives in public area of Ballymena

A MAN has pleaded guilty to possessing two knives in a public place – in the vicinity of Ballymena’s Moat Road.

Samuel Thomas Kennedy Adair (28), of Staffa Drive in Ballymena, committed the ‘possessing an article with a lade in a public place’ offence on September 29 this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday and adjourned to November 14 for a pre-sentence report.
