Man admits taking £30 of food from ‘Iceland’ store

A MAN has admitted stealing £30 worth of food items from the Iceland store in Ballymena.

Conor McGill (27), with an address listed as Ballymoney Road in Ballymena, committed the theft on September 4.

He appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court where his defence solicitor was John McAtamney.

The case has been adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

As part of £500 bail conditions the defendant is banned from entering the store.
