A DEFENCE solicitor said a man accused of dangerous driving and failing to stop for police has made “full admissions” to the charges he faces.

Albert Donnelly (44), with an address listed as Killane Park in Ahoghill, is also charged with driving while disqualified and using an Audi A4 without insurance.

He is accused of failing to stop for police in the Woodtown Road area of Ballymena on November 30 this year.

The defendant appeared via video link from prison at Ballymena Magistrates Court on December 19.

The court heard the defendant is due to appear at Antrim Crown Court on January 9 in relation to “identical” charges.
