A MAN has admitted assaulting his former partner as well as a hotel staff member whilst causing almost £1,000 damage to the Premier Inn in Coleraine.

Robert Lee McSeveney (40), with an address listed as Loughanhill Park in Coleraine, was at the town’s Magistrates Court on Monday and he pleaded guilty to two charges of assault and one charge of criminal damage relating to January 29 this year.

The case was adjourned to the end of March for a pre-sentence report.

The defendant told the court his address is now Dunderg Road, Macosquin,

McSeveney was given £500 bail with conditions including an exclusion from the Premier Inn in Coleraine and the Ballysally estate in Coleraine apart from Loughanhill Park.
