Man charged with being disorderly at hospital on his birthday has case further adjourned

A MAN charged with assaulting ambulance workers and police and also being disorderly at the Causeway Hospital on his 24th birthday has had his case further adjourned.

Asher Caldwell of Seymour Drive, Ballymoney, is accused in connection with November 18, 2019.

Meanwhile, in relation to November 22 this year the defendant is accused of being disorderly at the Causeway Hospital and assaulting five people.

On October 5 this year he is accused of assaulting four police officers; two custody detention officers and another person.

Regarding June 28 this year he is accused of assaulting six police officers at locations including Sainsbury’s in Coleraine and the Causeway Hospital.

The cases were mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court on December 30 and adjourned to January 13.
