A Ballymena man accused of having an offensive weapon – a machete – at Beechmount Park in Randalstown has had his case further adjourned.
Aaron Kernoghan (30), of Shetland Gardens, is alleged to have committed offences on February 3 this year.
He is also accused of threatening to kill a woman; assaulting her; damaging her furniture and taking a Renault Megane without authority.
The defendant is further charged with driving offences including driving whilst disqualified.
The case was mentioned at Antrim Magistrates Court today and adjourned to August 20 when a Preliminary Enquiry – the legal step to send a case to the Crown Court – is due to be heard.
