Man is accused of stealing a charity box

The defendant is not to enter this shop as part of bail conditions.

A MAN accused of stealing a charity box has been remanded on continuing bail.

Stephen Johnston (25), of Casement Street in Ballymena, is alleged to have stolen a charity box containing around £20 in coins belonging to a ‘head injury family support group’ on November 18 this year.

The case was listed at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday and adjourned to a later date.

The defendant was remanded on continuing bail and as part of his bail he is not to enter Woodside’s Pharmacy at Church Street in Ballymena.
