Man is charged with having a ‘flick baton’ at Ballymena’s Tower Centre

A MAN is charged with possessing an offensive weapon – a flick baton – at Ballymena’s Tower Centre.

Macauley Pollard (25), with an address listed as Lanntara in Ballymena, is also accused of possessing cannabis and receiving ‘stolen goods’ – a lap top.

The charges relate to dates in June this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday where Stewart Ballentine was the defence solicitor and it has been adjourned to September 26.
