Man is charged with making threat to damage property and ‘endanger life’

A MAN has been charged with making a threat to damage property in a way which ‘would have been likely to endanger life’.

David Taylor (39), of Crebilly Road, Ballymena, is alleged to have made the threat regarding a nearby property on August 31 this year.

On the same date he is accused of having herbal cannabis.

The defendant is also charged with burglary with intent to cause unlawful damage at ‘Outdoor Adventure’ on Ballymena’s Church Street on April 23 this year.

The cases were mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday where the defence barrister was Neil Moore.

The matters were adjourned to October 10 and another date later in the month.
