A man who stole headphones worth £150 from Currys and aftershave worth £60 from Boots – has been put on Probation for a year.
Kirk Greene (34), of Wakehurst Court, Ballymena, took the items on March 13 and March 15 this year.
At Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday, where the defence solicitor was Emma McCann, it was heard the headphones had been recovered but the aftershave was not.
Ms McCann said a pre-sentence report explained the “background” to the offending and the defendant had a “very limited record”.
District Judge Nigel Broderick noted the defendant was described as “vulnerable”.
As well as the Probation the defendant was ordered to pay £60 compensation for the stolen aftershave.
