Ballymena Court

A MAN who used a ‘stolen’ debit card to get alcohol and takeaway food has been given a two months jail term, suspended for a year.

Samuel Kyle Boyd (35), of Mill Mews, Henry Street, Ballymena, committed fraud by false representation in March this year.

A defence solicitor told Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday the defendant said the card had been given to him by a third party.

The defendant was ordered to pay compensation of £27.84.
